Striking Kitchen Refurbishment w/ Dark Accents

The property was a 1960’s home and in no way influenced the overall design and style of the kitchen. However, its simple modern construction with clean lines and basic shape creates the perfect backdrop for a contemporary kitchen that embodies its surroundings. The kitchen already benefitted from plenty of natural daylight thanks to the existing pyramid-style skylight overhead. We decided to recommend the addition of a ‘wall of glass’, made up of four new sliding doors in Rotpunkt which were finished in black industrial steel framed glass cabinets. The Chimney Glass with Venice Led side lights made this a real feature. This opened up the entire kitchen space to the garden and patio area and maximised the natural light, which allowed us to go dark across the units using brown steel cabinets and dekton trilium worktop and splashback. The central island defines the kitchen to create a functional space with personal style identity. Under cabinet lighting and pops of Gold to highlight the dark tones. Not only providing a practical workstation, the main island unit also created a vital seating area, additional countertop space, as well as a dedicated place to dine and entertain guests.
