Your choices
The Obsidian Interiors website offers separate choices for analytics and enquiry sources, website experience recording, and Google Maps. Optional tools stay off until you allow them. Declining does not prevent you from browsing or sending an enquiry.
Necessary storage
obsidian-consent-v2 stores your choices, their date and notice version in your browser for up to six months. An older preference marker may also remain until you clear website data. These preferences contain no form contents.
The obsidian_enquiry session cookie protects form submissions and helps us verify requests. It is restricted to the enquiry endpoint, inaccessible to page scripts and expires with your browser session. Short-lived, protected security counters limit repeated attempts. They contain no enquiry message. Staff use a separate secure administration-session cookie.
Analytics and enquiry sources
With this permission, obsidian-attribution-v1 remembers the first recorded discovery and recent referral or campaign information for up to 90 days. obsidian-visit-v1 groups activity within this tab using a 30-minute inactivity window and expires with the browser session. We store clean landing-page paths, referring hostnames and limited campaign labels, not full referral URLs or form contents. When you enquire, this information and your consent choices accompany the enquiry.
Google Analytics 4 is currently disabled. Allowing analytics still enables the enquiry-source records described above.
Website experience
Microsoft Clarity session replay is currently disabled. Your website-experience preference is saved but does not activate a recording tool.
Google Maps and external links
The embedded footer map connects to Google only after you allow Maps. Google receives connection information, such as your IP address, and may use its own cookies under its policies. You can use the separate directions link without loading the embedded map. Directions and social links open external services governed by their own notices.
Withdrawing permission
Use Privacy settings in the footer at any time. Declining analytics removes this site's stored attribution and available analytics cookies. Withdrawing an already loaded analytics or replay tool reloads the page to stop it; finish an unsent enquiry first. Withdrawing Maps removes its embedded connection. We cannot clear cookies belonging to an external provider's own domain. You can also clear website data in your browser.
Withdrawing browser permission does not delete an enquiry already submitted. Contact us about access or deletion of those records. Email marketing is a separate, optional choice on the enquiry form. See our privacy policy for retention and your rights.
